Teacups

I made this card ages ago, but found this photo while tidying up my computer, I love the vintage feel to it, it reminds me of my Grandma.
I used a Kaisercraft stamp that I stamped onto cream card with Walnut Stain DI for part of the background.
I used Martha Stewart edge punches and added the same DI to the lace strip.
The teacups are hand cut and inked round, I added the thin red card to the left hand side of the card to coordinate with the ribbon on the friends tag.
I am now thinking of making the same embellishment to go on a layout of my Grandma!!!

18th Birthday Card

I made this 18th card for my god daughter.
The papers I used are from Trimcraft and belong to a series called New Bloom, I used coordinating card from my scraps box.
I used my Cricut cartidge School Plantin to cut the letters and numbers which I than put glossy accents on.
I punched the butterflies using a Martha Stewart punch, once attached to the card I added glitter and beads to the butterflies.

30th Birthday Card

I made this card for my sister, guess how old she was???
I used a swirly stamp I had and an orange DI, spiced marmalade I think.
I added little 30's and gems but the card still looked bare so I added the rose ribbon which had the same DI on it.
The card still did not look right so I punched out some little flowers too, I am very pleased with the finished result.

Owl Card

I have been asked to make a lot of cards recently, (and Filofax dividers) which is good as I love cardmaking but it also means I have not been scrapbooking or making various boxes and gifts that I enjoy doing.
I was asked to make this card for a friend's grand daughter whose birthday party theme was owls and her favourite colour is blue.
I paper pieced the owl and the branch, then added stitching and glossy accents for highlights.

More Camper Van Cards

This is this years card for my godson, I used a stamp I bought from Hobbycraft for 99p and a free stamp from Craft Stamper magazine.
I made the card at the bottom first but then decided it was not quite right so made it again. I think the card is better or improved, it looks brighter and more beachy, is that a word, I'm not sure!!
I added glossy accents to the windscreen and lights.
The top card definitely has more texture and depth to it, which is what I prefere.

Camper Van Card

I made this VW card for my godson, he has always had a thing about camper vans.
To make the card I paper pieced the van using an image I found on google images.
The windows are cut in vellum and then inked so they stand out more.
Looking at this card again I really wished I had added some back ground detail.....next time!!

Cup Cakes and Cake Pops

My sister held a cake sale at her work to raise money for E.A.C.H, any money made is being doubled by the local bank, so we all baked one weekend.
Lucy and I made cake pops ,cupcakes, shortbread and sponges.
We kept the cake pops simple as they were being transported about a lot and did not want the decoration to be damaged in any way.
So far over £400. has been raised and a lot of cake eaten!!!
