Shopping List

At the last Craft Buddies Crop I was asked if I could do a class showing how to use the Bind-It-All, I made one of these shopping list notebooks for my Mother-in-law last Christmas, she uses it so much she has asked me to refill it three times.
The class will cost £2.00 and you can book on the day.
The crop is held at Tithe Barn, Horstead

Another Drawer of Cards

Here is another drawer full of cards that I have been working on,  I love the small flower print of the
 paper.
Karen and I hope to do this as a class through Craft Buddies. Karen is going to decorate the top of the drawer with her own unique designs.  The drawer will hold 5/6 A6 cards which will all co-ordinate. The paper I used is Fancypants Heirloom, the card is Coredinations Purple Grandeur.

Valentine Goody Bags

While doing my weekly shop I found these hearts and ladybirds, I just had to buy them. I remembered seeing Santa Sprinkles at our school christmas fete, so thought I would adapt the idea for valentines.

I used my eldest son's Pokemon card bags, the black ones, Hope he doesn't notice three missing and some ATC holder's I had tucked away.

The ladybirds are my favourite.

Happy Valentine everyone.

Valentine Gift Holder

After I made the card out of this paper I thought it would be neat to make a gift holder. I used to make similar things when I was younger, much younger, lol.
The small hearts are made using the Martha Stewart heart punch, a favourite of mine at the mo. I chose to use several strands of ribbon to bring out the colours of the paper.

I cut out the hearts the same as before but cut two of each design. I then made a gusset with cream card and fringed the edges so it would bend into bottem of the heart  but also stick to the inside of the hearts.

Valentine cards

As I have two good looking sons, I have been asked to make them valentine cards. I hope the girls like them!!

This card is like one I saw in the Cardmaking & papercraft magazine, instead of five hearts I choose to put just three hearts on. I used Lucy's filmo clay, she hasn't noticed yet, once baked I rubbed gold acrylic paint over the stamped design. I already had the letters which I then painted cream and dry brushed with the gold. I bought the paper,Fancy Pants Corsage from Karen http://www.craftbuddiespapercrafts.co.uk/  .The above card is a 3"x3", while the one below is an A6.

This card is another A6 card, I hand cut the heart out and used disstress inks to darken the edges.I used the swirls embossing folder and highlighted the embossed bit again with disstress inks. The word love was cut using a sizzlit.
I love this card, again the papers came from Karen at craft buddies, I used my cricut to cut the scalloped heart then hand cut the red card and patterned heart.I used 3d glaze on the word love, The ditress ink I used is aged mahogony.

A drawer full of cards.

This is a collection of cards I made my Mum for christmas, with a drawer/box card holder. I think I first saw these drawers on splitcoaststamper.com and decided to make my own version. I used double sided papers that I already had, inked around the edges using distress inks which I also used to stamp the flourish. I used clear embossing powder to highlight the flourish.
The flower is made using grunge paper which has been covered with old paper from a book I bought at the arthritis charity shop and inked, again using distress inks. I first saw how to make the flowers in craft stamper magazine some time ago.

The cards were made to match the drawer using the left over papers. Mum loved her christmas gift, she says she will not use the cards!!!

Prom Cube

This is a photo cube I made for my son's prom date, Charlotte. Jake and Charlotte had said from year 7 that he would drive Charlotte to the prom so in year 11 he did, he was the only person to drive his date although others got there in classic cars and horse drawn carts.
I painted a MDF cube in navy then dry brushed cream highlights around the edges. i made embellishments to set off the photo's

Charlotte was very pleased with her gift.
